A DSANT Family Journey

Here is our desire to share with friends, family and interested folk the experiences and thoughts of the Anderson Family (David, Shauna, Aidan, Noah & Thea Jeane). We're leaving our home on beautiful Bowen Island, and our work as pastor of a small and diverse community church (David) and lawyer (Shauna) to travel across North America and return to work with A Rocha, an international Christian environmental group.

Along the way we're planning to visit people, places and projects close to our hearts. Thanks for following along!

We’re leaving our wee home at 101-507 Bowen Trunk Road. After a marathon of a week: garage sale, recycling, Salvation Army drops, the dump and many drops to friends of rediscovered treasures too small or too young for our growing kids; we finished cleaning up the place and headed into the ferry line up for the last time as islanders. We’re not islanders anymore! That thought had us quiet most of the way through Vancouver. What are we now that we’re travelling for two months: RVers? Nomads? We’re in between, in between our much loved community and what is to come. That’s it, we’re exhausted. Good night!
